2022 Southern Interclub Championship Trophy & Club Trophy Competition

With yet another year of modelling pretty much done and dusted all that’s left to do is have a jovial get-together, eat pizza and hand out a couple of trophies. And that’s just what happened last Sunday afternoon…
Throw in a quaint assortment of amazing models, an epic sales table, and a scrumptious carrot cake (thanks Bev!) you have what was a great little event enjoyed by all who attended. It was awesome to have representation from Alexandra (COMS) and Dunedin IPMS, not only to increase the banter, but to boost the competition and raise the stakes. Unfortunately for the visitors the Southern Interclub trophy was to, yet again, remain in Invercargill, with Rob’s rusty little tractor chalking up the top tally of the votes. And to top it off Rob “doubled down” and took home our club trophy too!
Thank you to everyone who attended and to all the members who helped organise this wonderful event. Without you, your dedication and effort, these gatherings would be nonexistent, and IPMS would not be the vibrant collective of phenomenally crazy and passionate modellers that it is. Cheers.
