2011 End-of-year BBQ and Club Competition

Sunday 11th December.  Amidst a balmy heatwave club members gathered for the traditional annual barbeque and  competition.  Between idle chat and the consumption of tasty food, snacks and cold beverages a fantastic afternoon was had by all who attended, and there was even a respectable turnout of models for the judging tables.  With the exception of figures and ships most fraternities of the "game" were represented this year.

Again, we (the club members) must offer a big shout out and our sincerest thanks to Lester for all his hard work this past year in managing the club's affairs, events and direction.  Having to govern over a club full of misfits (really, I speak for myself!), and maintain his level of commitment and enthusiasm for the modelling cause is nothing short of astounding and inspirational.  Your "thankless task" is duly noted. Thank you Lester.
